The BPHS2S-UT — part of Audio-Technica’s BPHS2 headphone series, especially engineered for news and sports broadcasting — is a rugged single-ear headset offering clear, articulate vocal reproduction, along with a comfortable fit and excellent sound isolation.

It features a low-profile, closed-back, on-ear design that’s based upon the ATH-M60x professional monitor headphones, including the same 45mm large-aperture drivers, plus premium memory foam earpads and headband – and a memory foam temple pad – all to provide users a high-fidelity headset that’s made to last.

It’s equipped with a sleek condenser microphone whose hypercardioid pickup pattern keeps the focus on the broadcaster’s voice, even in loud environments. Tailored to reproduce that voice with a clear, articulate quality, the microphone sits at the end of a rigid boom with a strong, flexible gooseneck section, enabling easy and secure positioning. The boom is also designed to swivel forward and back so that the headset can be worn with the mic positioned on either the right or left side.

This particular model includes a 9.8′ (3.0m) detachable cable with a TA6F connector at the headphones end and unterminated output end (BPCB3).
